Local 2010 Secretary-Treasurer Honored by So Cal TNBC

The Southern California Chapter of the Teamsters National Black Caucus honored Secretary-Treasurer Jason Rabinowitz on Saturday, March 12, 2016 for his work in improving the lives of not only our members, but workers across California.

Through the leadership of our Secretary-Treasurer and the collective efforts of our members, our Union has managed to pass the first-ever legislation addressing workplace abuse, successfully lobbied for more funding to the UC, and took action to protect pensions and fight discrimination.  All this, while growing our membership to over 70% and adding hundreds of new members from the skilled trades.

Congratulations to Jason Rabinowitz on this prestigious award and a huge thanks to all of our members who helped make this possible.  Together we will continue improving the lives of workers everywhere because when we stand together, we win together.
