Members Say “Yes” to Unity and Power

Member Power Grows with Passing of Bylaws Amendments

In an unprecedented show of unity, Local 2010 members chose to continue to build our member power with 92% of the over 1,100 votes in favor of amending our bylaws.

This vote represents a new chapter in our Union by establishing a Skilled Trades Division that will represent the needs and interests of the thousands of new skilled trades members within the structure of Local 2010.

“Our members stand for unity and solidarity,” said Jason Rabinowitz, Local 2010 Secretary-Treasurer.  “By passing the bylaws amendments, we are strengthening our organization and building undeniable member power throughout the state of California.”

In just two years, over 2,200 Skilled Trades Workers at California State University and University of California have joined Teamsters Local 2010 making us a powerhouse in our state’s higher education.

We would like to thank everyone who helped make our organization the leader it is today.  Only through the hard work and engagement of our members could we have achieved so much.

Our work makes California work.
