Teamsters Joint Council 42 “No on Prop 22” Town Hall for Public Services Locals

In November, Teamsters members across California have an opportunity to fight for good jobs by defeating Prop 22.

Prop 22 is being bankrolled by billionaire gig companies to destroy good jobs. This proposition threatens Teamsters jobs in every industry, including public sector.

On September 10, Teamsters Joint Council 42 President Randy Cammack and Teamsters Public Services Division Director Jason Rabinowitz will host a meeting with public sector Teamsters leaders and activists across Southern California to explain why Prop. 22 threatens our jobs in Public Sector and what we as Teamsters can do to defeat it.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. If you can’t join the video portion, call-in information will also be sent when you register.

Billionaire corporations are looking to cut costs by turning good jobs into minimum wage “gigs” with no rights and no benefits. Defeating Prop 22 protects union jobs – public and private sector. Join with your fellow Southern California Teamsters to learn how you can join this fight.
