Notice of Nomination & Election of Admin. Officer 2 Teamsters 2010 Bargaining Team

Notice is hereby given of the nomination and election for the following bargaining team members to negotiate pay ranges for the Administrative Officer 2 (7376) title:

University of California (CX)        11 members

Bargaining Team Composition:  In accordance with Article 7 of the collective bargaining agreement with the University of California, the Union will comprise a bargaining team that includes eleven (11) rank-and-file members. Bargaining team seats will be assigned by campus in an effort to equitably represent members across the State. A candidate’s “home” campus will determine the seat they are running for. The seats and their geographic representation will be as follows:

  • UCB / UCOP
  • UCD
  • UCI
  • UCLA
  • UCM
  • UCR
  • UCSD
  • UCSB
  • UCSC
  • UCSF
  • UCANR

Nominations:  Nominations will be accepted beginning January 4, 2021, through January 11, 2021.

All Administrative Officer 2s (AO2s) who have signed a Member Power form on or after Sept. 30, 2020, shall have the right to nominate, second or be a candidate of the Bargaining Team. Nominations and seconds must be made by an Administrative Officer 2 member other than the nominee, and accepted by the nominee. Nominators and nominees are encouraged to verify their membership status by contacting their Union Representative.

Administrative Officer 2 nominees who accept must read and sign the bargaining committee job description and pledge after the election. Nominations must be received no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021.

Election: The election will be conducted via electronic ballot with all AO2 Union members receiving a ballot beginning Jan. 13, 2021, with the polls closing at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. The member with the highest number of votes for each location shall be deemed elected to the team, with the member with the second highest number of votes for each location becoming the alternate.
