At our 2021 Strategic Bargaining Conference, more than 100 Local 2010 leaders, stewards, and bargaining team members came together to strategize and plan for our upcoming contract campaigns. Together with Local 2010 staff and experts from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, we talked through the targets, actions, and allies we need to win big for workers this year and next.
“The training was a great resource to get all Teamster brothers and sisters focused on our common goals,” said Matt Mason, a Local 2010 Skilled Trades Steward at CSU Sacramento. “I liked the group campaign slogan responses, and the team now has the renewed drive and confidence to get our win.”
Deateria Dickinson, an Adminsitrative Officer 2 at UCSB, said: “Attending the conference was inspiring and extremely empowering. This being my first Union experience I am soaking up all the firsthand knowledge from those who are experienced and excited to share it all.”
