Our Teamsters Unit 6 Skilled Trades Bargaining Team has returned to negotiating a successor collective bargaining agreement while continuing to demand that CSU provide fair raises in our reopener negotiations. Our team has met with CSU several times over the past days, engaging in serious discussions with the University regarding long-overdue raises for all Unit 6 members.
“Our Bargaining Team continues to demand fair pay for our essential work during the pandemic and beyond. It’s past time for CSU to agree to fair raises for our members NOW, especially given skyrocketing prices in California.”
We have continued to take action at CSU campuses across the state to send the message that we will not stand for unfair treatment and low pay at the CSU. We’re not going to wait for CSU to do the right thing, and our Union has won thousands of dollars for our members impacted by unfair contracting out.
