The entire contract for administrative professionals and allied services workers in the CX Unit continues to be negotiated by our statewide Bargaining Team. Bargaining for Library Professional pay ranges and step structure begins on August 18 with the University of California (UC). We need the full force of all library professionals to stand with our Bargaining Team to ensure that we obtain the best wages. We show our solidarity and strength by participating in our Union.

The fastest and simplest way for you to participate is to show your solidarity with a table tent and Zoom background linked below! Print up the attached table tent, fold it up, and set it on your desk. Use the Zoom background in your video meetings, or as a screensaver!

Let’s show our support of better wages, better jobs, and a better UC by posting a pic of your workspace with your table tent on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and include the hashtag #iamteamsters.

Unions are funded solely by members and do not receive money from outside interests or corporations. When we bargain, we are only as strong as our members. We all lose money if some choose not to stand together in our Union by becoming members. Only Union members can participate in the negotiations process including input on bargaining surveys, bargaining team elections, and ratification votes. Dues deductions for Library Professionals will not be taken until negotiations are complete and we ratify the new wage scales.
