Teamsters Seeking Input on Needed Equity Adjustments

Our new Teamsters contract with UCLA sets up an Equity Review Committee that will review specific job classifications identified by either Teamsters or UCLA management that may require market-based wage increases. These increases would be in addition to the wage raises already detailed in Article 45 of our collective bargaining agreement.

Management will decide which classifications, if any, will receive an equity increase. The first of two Equity Review Committee meetings is scheduled for October 11, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Presentations will be limited to 15 minutes for each classification.

If you believe wages for your job classification are below-market and should be increased, please join one of the Teamsters meetings next week to learn more. You will be responsible for putting together an inequity presentation for your classification, selecting a presenter, and presenting to the committee on Oct. 11, 2022.
