UCI Bargaining Team Keeps Up the Pressure!

On June 10, our Bargaining Team met with UCI to continue bargaining for a new contract.

UCI made significant movement on Wages and Overtime that will close the gap and, in some cases, put us above other UCs. UCI also made some movement on University benefits in our bargaining session last Wednesday and provided clarification on a new position they are looking to add. However, UCI’s proposals are overall still lacking and don’t go far enough for workers. We continue to push UCI and and offered counterproposals for on-call pay.
