CX Teamsters Retro Pay Will Appear on Checks in Early November

As part of our negotiated wage agreement with the UC, all newly-accreted CX Teamsters will receive between nine months and a year of retroactive pay, from July or September 2023 to July 2024, representing the difference between their pre-accretion salaries and their current step on our new, Teamsters-negotiated pay ranges. This retro pay, added as a lump sum payout to worker paychecks, was initially planned for payment within 90 days of ratification of our agreement. However, the UC has informed our Union that due to delays in processing, that lump sum payout is now scheduled to appear on paychecks in the first week of November.

For all Patient Relations Professionals, Facility Management Specialists, Research Administrators, Ambulatory Care Administration Coordinators, and Health Professional Education Specialists, retro pay will appear on November 1 checks for monthly workers and November 6 checks for biweekly workers. Retro pay for Patient Relations Professionals will cover nine months, from August/September 2023 to June/July 2024. Retro pay for all other titles will cover a year-long period, from June/July 2023 to June/July 2024. 

This delay has not affected the implementation of our negotiated raises, which were effective July 1, 2024 and should be present on all worker paychecks.
