Our Bargaining Team has already secured three tentative agreements with the UC, including a tentative pay range and step structure for EA3s at UCSD, but our fight is far from over.
100% of EA3s statewide are paid below the maximum of their campus salary range, and 61% are paid below the median for their range! Not a single EA3 with more than 10 years of service has hit the max of their salary range, and 35% of veteran EA3s are still below the median despite a decade+ of service to the university. That’s unacceptable for workers who keep the nation’s preeminent public university system running.
We demand that the UC share their wealth with Teamsters EA3s. The money our proposals represent is pennies to the UC but would allow Teamsters workers to buy groceries, pay rent, and to keep making a living in the most expensive state in the country.
