The votes are in and 91% of voting Teamsters said YES to our new Union bylaws, giving our Union more strength and protection to fight harder than ever for dedicated Teamsters workers across the state!
Nearly 3,000 Teamsters cast their votes over the past two weeks for a stronger, more united Union. Highlights of the amended bylaws include incorporation of the affiliation agreement between the 3,000 members of the Associated Administrators of Los Angeles (AALA) and Local 2010; strengthened representation for CX, Skilled Trades, and AALA workers through dedicated advisory groups within the Union; and the incorporation of our Local 2010 strike fund into our Union bylaws, protecting it for all the fights ahead!
Total votes cast: 2,867
Yes – 2,609 (91%)
No – 258 (9%)

“The vote is a resounding mandate for a bigger, stronger Local 2010, and sets us on the right path to fight for and win the strong contracts, fair pay and benefits that we deserve! Thanks to all the members who voted!”
Jason Rabinowitz
