Location:  Los Angeles Sentinel

Address:   3800 S Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008

Volunteer Parking: The parking entrance is located behind the building on Coliseum Place. If the lot is full please park on the street.

7:00 AM: Volunteer Arrival/ Registration / Breakfast. Please give yourself time to park and walk to the event/volunteer registration area.

7:30 AM: All volunteer meeting and assignments.

8:00 AM: Program

8:30 AM: Volunteers deploy to their stations. Please give yourself time to wash your hands, put on gloves and mask.

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Food Distribution.

1:00 PM: Volunteer End Time/BREAK DOWN & CLEAN UP.

 Drive Thru Only (No Walk-Ups) 

*Please plan on staying an additional time after the last family is served to help us clean up.

 BREAKFAST AND LUNCH

Coffee, donuts, & lunch graciously provided by AFGE, LA Sentinel and Councilmember Herb Wesson.

Water will also be available for volunteers throughout the day.

ATTIRE

We encourage you to wear your union colors or your community organization’s t-shirt. Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes, you will be standing/walking mostly in the sun for a long period of time.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

All volunteers are provided PPE (mask and gloves). Please bring your own safety vest for the event if you have one. Warm weather is here, to protect yourself from the sun please bring sunscreen, cooling towels and a hat.
