Join the UCR Covid-19 Labor Alliance for our first informational webinar, “Our Living Conditions Are Your Learning Conditions.” Speakers from labor unions, organizations and student groups based at UC Riverside will convene on May Day to discuss how attacks on worker rights by the UC negatively affect students and threaten the mission and promise of higher education in California. We will detail how working conditions coalesce into living conditions and how those arrangements shape pedagogy in an era of online teaching and learning conducted from home. This webinar will be the first in a series of UCR Covid-19 Labor Alliance webinars that will focus on different themes and feature in-depth dialogue regarding people’s experiences during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
