Library Professionals 3 and 4 Wage Negotiations

As a result of a ruling by the State Public Employment Relations Board (PERB), work performed by the Library Professional 3 and Library Professional 4 share a community of interest with the CX Bargaining Unit and are now covered by the current CX Unit contract as represented by Teamsters Local 2010. Now that you are represented, your wages, hours and working conditions will be negotiated through the collective bargaining process. CX contract negotiations are already underway.

Approximately 90 Library Professional 3 and 4 workers at University of California campuses and medical centers across the state will immediately begin to receive collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration, layoff seniority and preferential rehire rights, as well as contracted benefits and workplace protections provided through our CX Contract.

Wage tables and pay step placement now need to be bargained with UC Labor Relations.
