After Teamsters and other CSU Unions lobbied, sent petitions and letters, and called their state legislators to get full state funding for the CSU—and the Legislature bent over backward to give it to them—CSU has again shown they don’t give a damn about workers by sending a demand to bargain for Unit 6 Skilled Trades workers’ 2025 raises and salary steps.
We demand that the CSU honor its promises to workers or prepare for a protracted, expensive and disruptive legal and economic battle with the Teamsters Union—up to and including potential strike action!

Teamsters, CSUEU and CFA members will speak during public comment at the July 22 CSU Board of Trustees meeting and present each Union’s petition and signers. The Union coalition will also hold a press conference prior to the Trustees meeting with several California legislators.
