On Monday, our team met with UCI to continue negotiations around wages. Although both parties engaged in a fruitful discussion, UCI claims they are not authorized to provide us a “bigger piece of the pie.” They also stated they would have to cancel Thursday’s bargaining session and reconvene on Friday. Therefore, we will be holding another worksite action on Thursday at lunchtime on campus (location TBA) to show UCI how we feel about their delays!
