UC San Diego has issued layoff notices to 27 critical library workers, including CX Unit Teamsters, and we need your help to fight back! Library staff make the work of students, faculty, and researchers possible, and enable the groundbreaking research on which UCSD’s reputation depends.
These layoffs jeopardize not just Teamsters jobs but also the work of the UCSD community and the reputation of the University. On top of the budget cuts already enacted in recent years that have slashed Library hours and services, we need to fight back against these layoffs NOW!
