Bargaining Meeting Thursday, March 26th:
On Thursday, March 26th the Teamsters Bargaining Team did not meet with management. The Team spent the day in caucus session reviewing and writing contract proposals.
On Monday, March 30, Teamsters requested a contract bargaining extension through May 31, 2026. This extension will provide both parties additional time to continue productive negotiations toward a complete successor agreement and allow both UCSD and Teamsters to work collaboratively toward fair and sustainable outcomes without disruption.
(4) SPECIAL NOTE: All (TA) Tentative Agreements made between UCSD Management, and your Bargaining Team must be ratified by a majority vote of Teamsters K6-Unit Skilled Trades members during the Ratification Vote at the conclusion of bargaining.
