Clement Morris successfully completed the Building Services Engineer Journeyman Training Program at CSU San Marcos, completing 144 hours of class-related supplemental Instruction and 7,200 hours of on-the-job training.
CSU apprenticeship training helps apprentices master their skills, which benefits the Skilled Trades in the long-term. The CSU Apprenticeship Program also ensures that the skills developed by each apprentice are matched to the university’s future needs.
Teamsters Local 2010 is creating a list of current Skilled Trades members at each CSU who would like to serve as mentors to CSU apprentices.
Occupations included in the CSU Apprenticeship Training Program include:
- Air conditioning / refrigeration mechanic
- Automotive / equipment mechanic
- Building services engineer
- Operating Engineer (Boiler room mechanic)
- Sheet metal worker
If you are willing to serve as a mentor to a CSU apprentice, submit your name, CSU campus, occupation/trade, phone number and email address to Teamsters Local 2010 Skilled Trades Director Drew Scott at email@example.com.
Congratulations, Clement! On behalf of Teamsters Local 2010, we wish you the best!
