Thanks to the strong support of our members, our Teamsters Bargaining Team has secured a Tentative Agreement with the University of California for workers in the Administrative Officer 3 & 4 and Facilities Management Specialist 4 classifications across the state!
Our Bargaining Team held the line for workers and won improved salary ranges and step placements, including an average 12% increase in starting pay for AO3/4s and FMS 4s at campuses and medical centers statewide! After six months of bargaining, we are pleased to recommend a YES vote on this agreement!
Our Bargaining Team will host an online Town Hall meeting on Monday, March 9 to review the tentative agreement. Register for the meeting now!

“At times the University’s position felt immovable, but through persistence and a strong team effort we were able to create meaningful movement. In the end, I believe we reached an agreement that members can genuinely get behind.”
Jacquelyn Word
UCSF AO4 and Bargaining Team Member
