The livelihoods we earn through our labor is one of the most important aspects of our lives, communities and greater society. Labor Day is a day to celebrate our rights to unionize, to exercise our free speech, to assemble, to fight for just pay and fair working conditions and to the pursuit of happiness.
With labor unions and workers under attack like never before, it’s a good time to attend a rally, march or other event to recognize our hard work and that of our fellows. Labor Day events are being held by various community organizations, unions, and other allies across the state. Find your nearest event by clicking the button below or check out the ones included in this post in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento.
Happy Labor Day to all Teamsters 2010 members. Let’s all recognize and support the work each of us do on a daily basis!
