99% of voting Teamsters have said YES to our incredible new CX Teamsters contract! That amazing majority shows that members agree: this contract is our biggest win yet, with a 37% compounded average raise over five years for nearly 20,000 workers, a $1,500 ratification bonus, strong caps on healthcare costs, an additional paid personal day for all workers, and more!
Thank you to every member who supported our elected Bargaining Team through 10 months of tough negotiations with the UC! Every petition signed, sticker worn, testimony made to the Regents, and workplace action made a difference. Together, we’ve won incredible wages and benefits for every CX Teamsters member!
Under the terms of our new agreement, UC is required to implement our first guaranteed 5% raise and step increase (average 2.2% for non-probationary workers), the ratification signing bonus, and the longevity lump sum bonus within 60 days of the notice of ratification scheduled for July 2, 2026. UC plans to pay these amounts, including retroactive pay, by September 10, 2026 for bi-weekly employees and September 1, 2026, for monthly employees.
Agreements for Public Safety Dispatchers and LBNL employees are not reflected in the calculator. For more information about Dispatcher and LBNL raises, check teamsters2010.org or contact your Union Representative.

“This agreement is better than anything we’ve ever dreamed of and the best deal I’ve seen in 28 years as a member of the CX Unit! This sets a standard for public employers across the country and is incredibly meaningful for us: the lucky clericals, childcare workers, and cashiers who make the UC succeed!”
