As a result of a decision issued on August 21, 2026 the State Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) more than 300 workers in the Facilities Project Management Specialists 1-5 titles are now covered by the Teamsters Local 2010 CX Bargaining Unit!
You join more than 28,000 Teamsters 2010 members across the state, working at the University of California, California State University, and Los Angeles Unified School District as administrators, allied services workers, skilled trades workers, and K-12 school principals and classified managers. Together with the 1.3 million Teamsters in the U.S. and Canada, we are North America’s strongest Union!
Now that you are represented, your wages, hours and working conditions are immediately protected under our Teamsters CX Unit contract and we will begin bargaining for improved initial pay ranges and step placements for all titles. You are also now eligible to receive a 30% compounded raise over the next five years, thanks to the CX unit contract just negotiated by our Union and members. Your first raise of 4% plus a 2% guaranteed step increase proxy (for non-probationary employees) will take effect on July 1, 2027.
Join us for a Teamsters Town Hall on Zoom on Friday, September 18 at 12:00 PM to learn more about our Union!

We will soon send out a bargaining survey to get your feedback on priorities during negotiations with the UC. If you are interested in being on our Bargaining Team, please let your Union representative know! Find your Union Rep by clicking here.
Only Union members can participate in the negotiations process, including answering bargaining surveys, serving on the Bargaining Team, and voting on Union contracts. All newly represented workers are encouraged to unite with our fellow UC workers by signing a membership application today. This sends a clear message to the UC that we are in this together!

Our Union is only as strong as our members. That means when we bargain, we need to show the UC that we are united and ready to do what it takes to get the best agreement possible! Unions are funded solely by members and do not receive money from outside interests or corporations. Member dues are necessary to fund critical items such as expert Union representatives, attorneys, negotiators and more. The dues rate is 1.44% of your base earnings and you will see that the Union difference of increased earnings in your paycheck will far outweigh the cost of dues!
If you can’t join the online Town Hall, please contact your Union Representative for next steps. When Teamsters stand together, our power is unmatched!
