We’ll be rallying to protect our rights to free speech and expression on UC campuses–such as pickets, strikes and marches–challenging the use of frivolous lawsuits by the Trump Administration to attack the University of California system and threaten the jobs and rights of Teamsters members and other UC workers and students. Teamsters and a coalition of UC Unions have filed a lawsuit to protect our jobs and rights at work from attack by the Administration.

Students and staff must be the highest priority in these unprecedented times. Fancy new buildings and sports stadiums can wait. Our CX Bargaining Team began negotiations on our next contract on Sept. 16 and our K4 Skilled Trades team is gearing up for bargaining to begin later this year.
We will not settle for wages that do not provide Teamsters workers with the ability to make ends meet with the rising cost of everything.
