Our new Teamsters contract establishes an Equity Review Committee that will review specific job classifications identified by either Teamsters or UCLA management that may require wage increases to match market rates. These increases would be in addition to the wage raises already guaranteed by Article 45 of our contract.
The Equity Review Committee meeting is scheduled for December 10, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you believe wages for your job classification are below the market rate, our Union will help you sign up to present to the committee and cover tips for successful presentations at our Monday meeting.

Each classification will have 15 minutes to present. Presenters will be responsible for creating their presentation and presenting to the Committee on December 10. The deadline to complete your presentation and submit it to John Viera at jviera@teamsters2010.org is December 3. Management will decide which classifications, if any, will receive equity increases.
