Plus, help save collective bargaining rights for federal workers!

On Thursday, March 27, the White House issued an Executive Order declaring the end of collective bargaining rights for 700,000 public sector workers in the federal government. Federal public sector workers, like California public sector workers, are the backbone of our country–caring for the sick and elderly, protecting our public health, and maintaining the infrastructure of our society.

The White House’s action is illegal union-busting, designed to punish the federal unions trying to protect their workers from firings and discrimination, and as fellow public sector workers, we must refuse to stand for it!

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) is asking Union workers across the country to call their Representative and demand an end to the White House’s attempt to outlaw federal Unions! Use the link below to get connected with your Representative and demand they stand up for American Unions!

“Teamsters Local 2010 stands in solidarity with the hundreds of thousands of federal workers whose fundamental Union rights are being taken away by the Administration. As public sector workers, Local 2010 members are no strangers to Union-busting billionaires and corporations trying to take away our rights. We understand that if they succeed in busting the Unions of our sisters and brothers in the federal workforce, they will try to do the same to us, and that their goal is to lower pay and benefits for the working class so the rich can get even richer. We condemn this vicious act of Union-busting and demand the administration reverse course immediately.”
