Update for Teamsters Skilled Trades Bargaining on Wednesday, July 8, Tuesday, July 14, and Thursday, July 23.
(Next Bargaining Team negotiations targeted for second week of August. Dates will be scheduled soon.)
Special Note: Package Proposals are often exchanged near the conclusion of collective bargaining because each party has a clearer understanding of the other’s priorities. This enables the Union and employer to bundle wages, benefits, working conditions, and other issues into a comprehensive settlement that reflects compromise, resolves outstanding concerns, and increases the likelihood of reaching a ratifiable agreement. This form of exchanging package proposals also adds a layer of protection in bargaining for Teamsters so that key priorities can be maintained and not be diminished by single contract Article negotiations near the end of bargaining.
