Momentum is growing across the state in support of our strike.
From elected politicians to our fellow workers, everyone can see the truth: The CSU’s treatment of Unit 6 Teamsters has been greedy, disrespectful, and downright illegal. By continuously denying our 2025 raises, CSU has not only violated California labor law and our Union contract, they’ve broken trust with their workers and allies.
Already, more than half a dozen state legislators have pledged support for our strike, with more signing on every day:
- Asm. Pilar Schiavo
- Asm. Nick Schultz
- Asm. Liz Ortega
- Asm. Mark González
- Asm. Jesse Gabriel
- Asm. José Solache
- Asm. Dawn Addis
- Asm. Ash Kalra
- Asm. Mike Fong
- Sen. Maria Elena Durazo

The California Labor Federation has declared their support for our strike, as have Teamsters Joint Councils 7 and 42. 2.3 million California workers, including 250,000 of our Teamsters sisters and brothers, stand with us.
When our strike begins on Tuesday, February 17, we’ll have the full power of our Union family and our labor movement standing by our side!

“When CSU messes with 1,100 skilled trades Teamsters, they mess with 26,000 Teamsters in Local 2010, a quarter million California Teamsters, two million Union workers in the California Federation of Labor, as well as our pro-Union supporters in the state legislature. Our members are fed up with CSU’s unfair treatment, we are fired up and ready to take effective strike action, and California Labor has our back!”
Jason Rabinowitz
Secretary-Treasurer, Teamsters Local 2010
