Sisters and Brothers,

FINALLY you have seen the fruits of our labor in the 9/5 pay warrant along with the retroactive pay. It goes without saying you have been extremely patient and I thank you for your grace. As I have said before we fought tooth and nail, not just for the raise, but for improved working conditions, as well. We came together as a strong union and WON! As a reminder, below are the schedules for the contractually agreed upon raise and the increase in dues.

2025-2026: 4% (retro to July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026)

2026-2027: 7.65%

7/1/26 4%

1/27 3.65%

Reopener 2027-2028

Dues Structure:

2025: $47.08

2026: .75% gross salary

2027: 1.00% gross salary

2028: 1.44% gross salary

Sideletter Pending Clarifications

EDSSL Evaluation Process

This sideletter establishes a joint committee to meet monthly and make recommendations to the District and AALA/Teamsters Local 2010 regarding the EDSSL evaluation process, criteria, and element weighting/rating. This committee is in the process of being established (Read HERE)

Early Education Principals and Early Education Directors Salary Study

This sideletter establishes a committee to review the classifications of the EEC principals and EEC directors. This committee is in the process of being established. (Read HERE)

Principals Assigned to Single Administrator Site

This sideletter acknowledges the additional tasks and responsibilities associated with being a single site administrator (principal) at schools with 275 or more students Local 2010. The principal shall receive an annual stipend of $5,000 (to be distributed at the end of each semester). If the site has a full time AP/APEIS, the principal does not qualify for the stipend. If the site has a half time APEIS, the principal qualifies for the stipend. This stipend is retroactive to January 1, 2026 for the Spring 2026 semester. The retroactive payment will appear in the October warrant. The principal shall receive the stipend in two semester payments in January of 2027 and June of 2027. (Read HERE)

Priority School Principals Tier 3

This sideletter acknowledges the additional tasks and responsibilities associated with Priority Schools. Principals at these sites shall receive an annual stipend of $5,000 (to be distributed at the end of each semester). This stipend is retroactive to January 1, 2026 for the Spring 2026 semester. The retroactive payment will appear in the October warrant. The principal shall receive the stipend in two semester payments in January 2027 and June 2027. (Read HERE)

Professional Development

This sideletter memorializes school site administrators MAY include in THEIR school budgets up to 20 hours per semester of supplemental admin X time. Hours will be logged and submitted with appropriate documentation to the Region superintendent/designee for processing of payment. (Read HERE)

Preparation for Summer School and Winter Recess Academy

This sideletter memorializes any hours of additional pay the District allocates for Summers and Winter Recess Academy Preparation shall not require a pre-approval plan. Preparation hours shall be logged and submitted to the Region superintendent/designee for processing. (Read HERE)

Unit J Sideletter

This sideletter memorializes the establishment of a Salary Compression Committee to review the classification(s) identified by AALA/Teamsters 2010 where it is believed there is a compression between the classification and one or more classifications they supervise. This committee is in the process of being established. (Read HERE)
