As a result of a decision issued by the State Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) on Oct. 7, 2025, more than 1,800 workers in the Financial Analyst III, IV; Patient Navigator, Non-Clinical, III, IV; Financial Services Analysts III, IV; and Health Professions Education Specialist III, IV classifications across the state are now covered by the Teamsters Local 2010 CX Bargaining Unit.

You are now united join more than 26,000 administrative, allied service, skilled trades, and classified managers employed in public education who provide critical public services at every University of California and California State University campus, medical center and laboratory throughout the state, principals and administrators at Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as 1.3 million Teamsters members in the U.S. and Canada.

Now that you are represented, your wages, hours and working conditions are immediately protected under the CX Union contract and we will be bargaining initial pay ranges and step placement. Our CX Unit Bargaining Team is currently in negotiations with the UC for a successor contract. Our negotiated Teamsters raises are guaranteed, which is not the case for unrepresented workers.

Only Union members can participate in the negotiations process, including bargaining surveys, serving on the Bargaining Team, and voting on Union contracts. All newly represented workers are encouraged to unite with our fellow UC workers by signing a membership application today. This sends a clear message to the UC that we are in this together!

We are only as strong as our members and when we bargain, we need to show the UC that we are united and ready to do what it takes to get the best agreement possible. Unions are funded solely by members and do not receive money from outside interests or corporations. Member dues are necessary to fund critical items such as expert Union representatives, attorneys, negotiators and more. The dues rate is 1.44% of your base earnings and dues will not be deducted until we ratify the new wage scales and step placement for your title. You will see that the Union difference of increased earnings in your paycheck will far outweigh the cost of dues.
