The current agreement with the University of California (UC) is set to expire March 31, 2026, and notice is hereby given for the nomination and election of the CX bargaining team to negotiate a successor agreement.
Bargaining Team Composition: In accordance with Article 1 of the CX agreement, the team shall be comprised of fourteen (14) members. In an effort to equitably represent all members, bargaining seats are determined as follows:
- UCB/UCOP
- UCD Campus & MC / ANR
- UCI Campus & MC
- UCLA
- UCLA Health
- LBNL
- UCM
- UCR / UCPath
- UCSD
- UCSD Health
- UCSF (2 seats)
- UCSB
- UCSC
Nominations: Nominations will be accepted June 2, 2025, through June 20, 2025. Nominations should be submitted to the attention of Chance Davis at cdavis@teamsters2010.org or faxed to the Teamsters Local 2010 Oakland office at (510) 845-7444.
Eligibility: Current members who are approved CX shop stewards are eligible to run and must be nominated and seconded by current CX members in good standing from their work location. Nominations and seconds must be accepted by the nominee. Nominees may not nominate themselves. Nominators and nominees are encouraged to verify their membership status by contacting their Union Representative. Nominees who are elected must read and sign the bargaining committee job description and pledge upon election. Nominations must be received no later than 3:00 PM on June 20, 2025.
Election: The election will be conducted via electronic ballot with all CX Union members receiving a ballot beginning June 27, 2025, with polls closing on July 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM Members shall only be able to vote for candidates from their location.
