Stop the Unnecessary Layoffs at Lawrence Berkeley Lab!

The Lawrence Berkeley National Lab at UC Berkeley has inappropriately laid off five Teamsters since August, and failed to follow our Union contract in the process of these layoffs. Please join our fight against these layoffs, which are premature and unnecessary since the lab has not lost any funding, and it remains to be determined whether they will lose any federal funding in the 2025-2026 budget. In fact, the current budget proposal would increase funding for the Department of Energy’s Office of Science, the department that funds LBNL.

Please take a minute to send a prewritten email to LBNL administration to demand that they rescind the layoffs and work with Teamsters Local 2010 representatives to avoid layoffs once the federal budget has been determined.
