100% of K8 Teamsters Vote YES!
Skilled Trades Teamsters at UC Santa Barbara UNANIMOUSLY voted to approve their first new collective bargaining agreement as Teamsters on April 1!
By standing together and taking action as Teamsters, we won a strong contract with 11% raises this year and 26+% over the five years of the contract! Members also won a $1500 bonus and language improvements that protect our jobs and rights at work.
Our members showed incredible strength and solidarity through this contract fight. We marched, picketed, rallied and made clear to the employer that Teamsters are ready to do whatever it takes to win a fair contract.
