Local 2010 Donates to Fire Relief, Join in Helping Victims Today

Our Union is about working people standing together, and this is especially true in times of disaster.  Thousands of Teamster members of Local 2010 and other Locals have been affected by the fires that have devasted California in recent weeks, including many of our members at Chico State University some of whom have lost their homes in the fire.

Teamsters Joint Council 7 has created a fund to assist Teamster members who have suffered catastrophic losses due to the Camp Fire.  Teamsters Local 2010 has donated $20,000 to the fund, and all Teamster members and friends are invited to donate as well.  Your donation will help Teamster families rebuild and recover. Personal donations can be sent to Teamsters Joint Council 7-All Charities Fund. Donations are tax deductible to the 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Chico State Members

Teamsters Local 2010 and CSU have reached an agreement for the University to provide emergency leave with pay to Chico State bargaining unit employees impacted by the Camp Fire, where such a leave is considered necessary for the protection of the health and safety of the employee. If you are a Chico State Teamster affected by the Camp Fire and need emergency leave, please contact your steward or your Union Representative.
