Teamsters-Negotiated Raises Promised in Oct. 25 Paycheck

After months of excuses and failed commitments, UC Davis has said that they will implement and pay us our Teamsters-negotiated raises in Oct. 25 paychecks.

Skilled Trades Teamsters should be paid the following on Oct. 25, 2023:

1. Retroactive pay increases: June 26, 2022 through June 24, 2023: 6% raise and wage step placement. Those on Steps 1-4 will move to Step 5 retroactive to June 26, 2022;
2. Retroactive pay increases #2: June 25, 2023 through Sept. 30, 2023: Step increase of approximately 2% and 3% across-the-board raise;
3. Wages with accurate step and pay rate: October 1, 2023 – October 14, 2023;
4. Ratification lump-sum payment of $3,000

The University has yet to provide implementation dates for retroactive overtime, shift rates, and ancillary pay. These retro increases need to be manually implemented.

PTO Conversion for UCD Health employees: Once the increases have been programmed into the payroll system, then the PTO conversion can be completed.
