Two scholarships are now accepting applications for Teamsters kids! In Northern California, Joint Council 7’s Harry Polland/Bob Morales Memorial Scholarship is accepting applications until May 20. And for students graduating from a school system in San Diego or Imperial counties, the San Diego-Imperial County Labor Council is accepting applications for the John S. Lyons Memorial Scholarship, open until May 24!
Northern California:
Harry Polland/Bob Morales Scholarship
JC 7 offers financial awards to the children of active Teamsters members in Northern California, including the children of full Local 2010 members. Interested applicants should fill out the application at the link below and email or mail it to Local 2010’s Oakland office, to arrive no later than May 20.

John S. Lyons Memorial Scholarship
The Labor Council offers a one-time $5,500 scholarship to high school seniors or college students who attend or have graduated from a San Diego or Imperial County school system, and whose parent or legal guardian is a Union member in good standing.
Interested applicants should fill out the application at the link below and mail it to the John S. Lyons Memorial Foundation office, postmarked or hand delivered no later than May 24.
