Our Teamsters Bargaining Team for Ambulatory Care Administration Coordinators, Facilities Management Specialists, Health Professional Education Specialists, Research Administrators, and Patient Relations Professionals will host a Bargaining Update via Zoom on Thursday, Nov. 2. All UC Teamsters are invited to join and hear the latest updates on negotiations with the UC.

We need to stand together and demonstrate our power as workers during these negotiations. The UC must understand the value we provide to our workplaces! So far during negotiations, the UC has said:

  • No to IAP/CEMRP2 incentive plan amounts moving forward
  • No to retroactive pay for initial step placement, shift diff, weekend diff, etc.; they propose effective date of 90 days from the date of ratification for EVERYTHING.
  • No to a 1-step increase for Patient Relations Professionals
  • No to $3000 ratification lump sum
  • No to 6% COLA retro to 7/1/2022
  • No to weekday shift differential rates
  • No to weekend shift differential rates
  • No to on-call rates for Facilities Management Specialists
  • No to RA1/FMS1 advancement to level 2 after 18 months
  • No to required license/certification pay
  • No to environmental/hazardous material pay
  • No to lead pay differential rates
  • No to converting contract employees to career under CCL
