We want to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to every one of you for making a difference in the lives of the working class and the labor movement. Thanks to you, this year we have continued building Teamsters Local 2010 into a powerhouse for workers’ rights!
Thank you for standing together at our California State University Unfair Labor Practice strike at 23 CSU locations on Nov. 14, and making that strike an unprecedent success! Thank you for your solidarity and commitment to strengthening Local 2010, which enabled our Union to bring more than 1,200 new members into our local so far this year! Thank you for your commitment to building our Union’s political power by more than doubling member contributions to the Teamsters’ DRIVE (Democrat Republican Independent Voter Education) Fund!
Teamsters Local 2010–17,000 workers strong–is a powerful labor force that uses collective action to empower workers and strategically create positive change in our workplace and beyond. Together we have advocated for our rights, improved our working conditions, and strengthened the labor movement that supports all workers across the nation. Our Union is constantly growing thanks to the power and commitment of our members, leaders, and staff.
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the importance of family, friends, unity and togetherness. On behalf of Local 2010 leadership, we wish you a joyous Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of loved ones.
